Introduction

In high school, I was in excellent shape. I played multiple sports year-round: diving, cross-country, pole-vaulting, and even some lacrosse. But after I graduated, I stopped exercising and didn't keep up with my old routine. I tried intramural flag football in college, but that didn't last long since I dropped out a few months later.

As the years went by, my life mostly consisted of working during the day and playing video games when I got home. Some of my work was labor-intensive, like automotive repair, which kept me somewhat active, but I was slowly gaining a "belly"—something I never had in high school. I didn't do much to prevent it; I ate unhealthy lunches at work and snacked constantly while gaming. Soon enough, the weight really started to show. I went from about 170 lbs in high school (2016) to 235–240 lbs in 2022.

In 2022, I moved into my own place and decided to finally tackle my weight gain. I mapped out a three-mile route in my neighborhood and started a routine: I’d walk, then run for a little bit until I got tired, then walk and run again until I finished the loop. I did that every single day throughout October 2022 and lost about 15 pounds. Going from 235 down to 220 lbs was awesome to see.

Unfortunately, I got injured in November 2022. I pulled something in my leg, so I had to take some time off. That "time off" ended up lasting through the rest of November and all of December. When 2023 arrived, I weighed myself and was still at 220 lbs, but work soon got in the way. I stopped exercising and eventually gained all of that weight back. Ugh. By the end of 2023, I was back to 235–240 lbs—right back where I started.

In 2024, I moved to Utah for a change of pace. I was looking for different scenery and more options to keep my fitness up. 2024 and 2025 both went by, and I stayed at that same weight of 235–240 lbs.

Now that 2026 has arrived, I’ve finally gotten my job situation solidified. I’m happy with where I’m at and what I’m doing, so I feel like I can finally focus on my weight loss. That is where we stand today.

So, with that said, on this page im going to just share a table of the dates and my weight as of that date and specific goals per month to reach and we will see if I can reach them.
